Brazilian instrumental music influenced by carimbó, jazz, salsa, samba and afrobeat
Esdras Nogueira is a saxophonist, music producer and chef. He has released three solo albums: Esdras Nogueira Quinteto Ao Vivo (2017), Na Barriguda (2016) and Capivara (2014).
His debut album was a tribute to the maestro Hermeto Pascoal, where Esdras dared to interpret the master’s compositions and his effort was congratulated by Hermeto himself. “I heard it, it’s great. The songs are different but didn’t lose their essence. Esdra has had a great start and will go far” said Hermeto.
